In early January, things looked pretty dicey with the economy. Still, there are always optimists who can imagine a profitable year, a way everything could turn around... maybe the stock market will rally! Maybe consumer spending will remain where it is!

Etc.

They're like cheerleaders, cheering on the economy. Pretty, festive cheerleaders.

Of course, bulls are all male. But no one seemed to mind.
