"Cranky Consumer:
Shopping for Auto Insurance"

THE WALL STREET JOURNAL

This was for the 'Cranky Consumer' column, which I love.

Maybe because I'm a cranky consumer myself.

Or maybe it's because they investigate services and industries that are a little 'out there' (furniture you assemble at home, Christmas tree decorating services, etc.).

This one was a little more mainstream, and I'll confess, I didn't get to read the article before I came up with ideas, 'cause it hadn't been written yet. So I just did a general illustration about 'Auto Insurance', and hoped for the best... of course it worked out. These things usually do.

(and, might I add, it's not as easy to find photo reference of the undercarriage of a car as you might expect!)
